Sure, in Tagalog it technically means “gossiper.” But let me tell you what it really means to me.

When I hear tsismosa, I think shared stories, deep bonding, uncontrollable laughter, a few tears, and every emotion in between. I think connection. I think community. I think storytelling.

So if you call me a tsismosa, just know I’m taking it as a compliment. I’m a storyteller—and you’re not changing my mind.
